zapreaderlogo2Too busy with stuff and do not have enough time to finish reading what you are interested in? Well, this is when an unique and exciting web application called ZAP Reader comes in really handy. Dubbed as a ‘web based speed reading program that will change the way you read on your computer’, it allows users to boost their reading speed by an astounding 300% increase. What’s more is that reading fast would not even lose your comprehension of the text, according to several beta testers. Too good to be true? Well, try it out first and you will know.

Currently in beta, ZAP Reader is extremely simple to use. All you need to do is to launch the reader and copy the text which you want to read fast into the textfield provided. Alternatively, you can punch in a valid URL to ZAP Read an entire page. By default, Zap Reader allows you to read at 300 words per minute, one word at a time. Users can even alter their personal preferences under the ‘Settings‘ option. For example, you are able to configure the reading speed (words per minute), select the number of words at a time, choose your preferred font and many more.
