Sometimes you just have to go on without encouragement. I for one, have also been thought to be wasting time in my room with the Internet (10 years ago….. or more) but I pushed on.

In my opinion (as one who was a kid before) is that determination and dedication to the things you like is VERY important. That kept me going while the world is not exactly encouraging.

You are totally correct when you say that all kids need some motivation! Take my case, My parents always say that I am a useless person doing something on the Internet. But when will they understand that It is not a waste of time?

About point #3 – Distractions & Not Enough Time

The way you put it is as if adults have more time in their hands, fact of the matter is student life is way easier than adult life – once you enter the workforce, damn – you wish you're still a student.

In the end, let's not blame DISTRACTIONS and NOT ENOUGH TIME – they are around whether you're 10 or 100. it's all about self-control, having proper time management.

Another matter is the frequency of publication – you're publishing almost daily, which is good but it's also taxing. I think one article ever 2 – 5 days is fine if time is an issue. Your readers wouldn't mind.

Excellent article. Enjoyed it thoroughly. However, I feel lack of knowledge may not be a reason. A lot of kids are there who code much better than a lot other adults and have insightful thoughts about technology among other areas.
