Top 10 Airlines on Twitter based on Number of Followers

Some use the world’s most popular micro-blogging platform as a place to share their personal lives encircling around the question “What are you doing?”. Some turn it into a celebrity fan page whereby they can connect with their fans on the world wide web. Some promote their blogs, businesses or products on Twitter to reach out to the large community.

Today, I’ve grabbed data from Twitter Search and a few other sources to form a list of ‘Top 10 Airlines on Twitter based on Number of Followers’. Most of these airlines make use of Twitter to introduce new events, offer a limited number of air tickets at discounted prices, and many more. Check them out and you’ll know!
