According to Variety, Columbia Pictures announced the three male leads which traces the drama behind the creation of Facebook. They are Jesse Eisenberg (Mark Zukerberg - CEO of Facebook), Justin Timberlake (Sean Parker - Co-Founder of Napster & Founding President of Facebook) and Andrew Garfield (Eduardo Saverin - Co-Founder of Facebook). I must admit that it's indeed a brilliant casting, especially Eisenberg, whose physical looks matches Zukerberg's.

However, a recent study has changed my mindset. A survey released by Retail Advertising and Marketing Association (RAMA) concluded that more than 60% of stay-at-home moms with children use Facebook, 42% use MySpace and 17% use Twitter. Surprisingly, these figures are much higher the percentage of average adults. The average for all adults is 50% for Facebook, 34% for MySpace and 15% for Twitter.

Gone are the days you would see moms flipping through magazines or newspapers searching for shopping-related stuff. In today's new era of technology, online shopping seems to be the preferred choice by many moms. They enjoy turning to the internet for recommendations for apparel, groceries, furniture, jewelry and even real estate. Besides posting daily ramblings or rants on their Twitter profiles, moms tend to spend quite a huge portion of their leisure time looking for special coupons on retailer and restaurant Facebook pages, or even enrolling themselves in special contests through these companies’ Twitter pages. The facts should not be ignored - social media is an easy and affordable method for retailers to use to get moms’ attention.

Announced on July this year, the new Google Chrome OS will feature a small, fast-booting platform, which enables web users to get hook up to the web within a few seconds. For example, you're able to gain access to Google's apps or web services without any hassle or worry about viruses, malware and security updates. The Google Chrome OS team plans to open source the project and will be available for consumers in the second half of 2010 at no cost. The person making the offer? A teenager. Indeed, more teens are downloading smut to their cellphones, thanks to easier and cheaper Internet access. Mr Yusof Ismail, executive director of voluntary welfare group Ain Society, has heard of up to 120 such cases in the last five years. There have been 15 cases so far this year. At the Singapore Children's Society, three teens are being counselled for such acts, as are two at Andrew and Grace Home. The teens usually watch videos streamed online or downloaded to their cellphones.

A Sunday Time check with 15 teens who surf on their phones showed at least seven have visited porn sites, and two have watched or tried accessing content. Mr Poh Yeang Cherng, manager of Touch Cyber Wellness and Sports, estimated that the number of young people surfing for porn on cellphones could be higher than those doing so via personal computers. The mobile platform is "subject to less control and moderation".
