If you own a Mac, chances are you already have a special little app, called Dropbox.
It’s a great app, and it’s uses are infinite: backup, sharing, hosting; anything!
But chances are, you wanted a simpler, more productive way to share your files. Dropbox can be clumsy, slow, and inconvenient if you really want to quickly share something with the world.
Enter, Droplr!
Droplr is a beautiful little app, that rests in your menubar.

Now, say you wanted to share that .zip of icons you just made. That’s easy!
You can either select the .zip and press the hotkey you define in the settings, or drag it to the menubar!
A litle popup will appear when it’s done.

One of the awesome things about Droplr is the domains.
You can either have http://droplr.com/*****, http://drp.ly/***** or your own custom domain!
They detail how to achieve this on their website, if you visit the help section.
Currently it is in private beta, you need an invite to get in.
MacAppStorm are holding a competition for 20 invites, and @droplr say they will give away 5 invites on top of that!
Droplr has a web app, but it can’t be used to upload files. It’s used for finding your files, managing them, and posting old ones.
You can change your settings, get help, manage and organise your files, and download the app.
It has Twitter integration, as you have seen from the popup image.
If you go the preferences, then Twitter you will see this:

It currently supports Twitter.com, Tweetie and Bluebird. I suspect they’ll soon include Tweetdeck, as it’s such a largely used app.
You can change the shortcuts:

There is currently no grab-integration. That means that it will not automatically upload any screenshots you take! They are however working on it, and it will be on a seperate hotkey. Read more on their blog post.
Under General you can put your Droplr details in, choose to start Droplr on startup or not, and choose whether or not to hide the dock icon.

At the moment it has infinite storage space, and there’s no limit to traffic on your files.
It’s still in it’s beta stages, 0.8.3 to be precise, and as such there may be bugs. That said, I’ve never encountered any.
One huge problem I can find with Droplr is the inability to upload more than one file at a time. Although  when you think about the popup, you can think why. They would have to incorporate multiple URL’s into that small box. A simple workaround for most occasions is to .zip the files, then upload that.
All-in-all, this is a brilliant little app. A huge time saver, which is very well designed, thoroughly thought-out, and is just generally useful.
