Flickr Launches its Own ‘App Store’ – The App Garden

5 Comments 03 November 2009

Since Flickr’s API launch in 2004, developers have built mass quantities of applications to do a variety of things with the Flickr database. Today, the world’s most popular photo-sharing website Flickr revamped its services section and launched a new directory of apps called ‘The App Garden‘, a place where developers can showcase the applications they’ve created and where users can find the best Flickr apps out there.

Each app will get its own page where users can add descriptive tags, favorite the apps they love and share their views and thoughts about the apps in the form of comments. In fact, these new pages act just like Flickr photo pages.
