Tinygrab is an application that uploads your screenshots. If that sounds simple, that’s because it is.
You simply run the app in the background, and when you take a screenshot, the normal way (cmd+shift+4)it uploads it; either to grab.by or your own custom FTP server!
It’s extremely simple to use, and has a Windows counterpart, and an iPhone companion in the works.
It also allows you to upload images that aren’t screenshots. You can either drag the image into the dock icon, if you have it enabled, or click on the menubar icon, and then click Upload Image. Very useful if you want to quickly share images.
I think the big feature that lots of people will find useful, is the custom FTP.
You can have TinyGrab point to your own FTP server! Say you had one like “http://amuse.me/” and you pointed TinyGrab toward your FTP server, it would upload it to the server, and then (should you select it in the Preferences) copy it to your clipboard.
You can also tell it to do one of these three things after uploading:
..which is extraordinarily useful, as with screenshots you used to always have clutter on your desktop, or on the destination you can choose via Terminal. I thought, seeing as it’s related to TinyGrab screenshots, I would tell you how to do this.
Open Terminal and type this:
“defaults write com.apple.screencapture location /Users/YOUR_USER_NAME/"
(obviously change where appropriate)
Then log out, and log in again.
Anyway, back to TinyGrab.
There’s an online control panel, just go to tinygrab.com And click Control Panel. Then Sign In. From here you can edit your Grabs (url’s, descriptions, name, disable/enable short url), change your account info, get an Overview, see your grabs, and (if you have Premium) Search through them.
It’s a very well organised online Control Panel.
The speeds of TinyGrab are insane. You could upload a 1280 x 800 .png within 10 seconds. It’s blazing fast!
TinyGrab runs on an account system, rather than a Serial Number system.
Now normally this would be £10, but if you go to MacHeist their FREE bundle of 6 apps, NanoBundle, includes TinyGrab! And you get a Premium account forever!
Even at £10 it’s most definitely worth it.
So what are you waiting for? Go and get this shining beauty of an app!

I'd love to know what you thought of the review!
It isn't a very bad review at all. Pretty neat application, by the way. Although I think you guys at TechXav really have to get a gallery plugin or something similar that I have at LaptopMemo. It would also be good it you could all watermark your shots, like I do.
What screen capture do you guys use?
I used TinyGrab
Just did CMD + SHFT + 4 and then pressed Space (it then captures windows)
I hope I helped!
Matt.
Thanks for your quick reply
