There were many products that everyone wanted to be released, or become big. Here is a list of something that was expected to become big, but never did.

<strong>1.</strong> <strong>Google Wave</strong>: Earlier this year Google rolled out their new service called Wave. Wave was essentially going to kill email. It was a way to let people collaborate on projects and ideas. The reason it got so much hype is the from the invite only model. People were trying so hard to get an invite, it just felt like the next, best, service out there. After people received their invite and signed up, they found that it really has no point.

But now I seldom use it for one simple reason - SPAM, especially those continuous updates from Farmville and Daily Horoscope. Although there are a few ways to filter those updates, but here's a nifty little trick of how to read your friend's statuses ("What are you doing" Twitter-like part of Facebook) directly from a feed reader like Google Reader or Newswire. Facebook no longer links to the status RSS feed URL, so it requires some tweaks to the URL.

First of all, make sure you're logged in on Facebook. Visit <a href="http://www.facebook.com/notes.php"target="_blank">http://www.facebook.com/notes.php</a>, and click on the "My Friends' Notes" link located at upper right of the page. Your feed URL will resemble something like this (http://www.facebook.com/feeds/friends_notes.php?id...). Next, change the part of the URL that says "<strong>friends_notes</strong>" to "<strong>friends_status</strong>". Make sure the rest of the URL remains intact, and copy and paste the URL into your preferred feed reader.

This is the perfect illustration (although not as vivid) for all the OS fanboys out there. It depicts how fanboys of the Linux, Windows, and Mac operating systems see other. I definitely fall into the Mac category! Must I say more? Pure epicness.

I have many people I look up to online. I am inspired by everyone. I would not have learned ONE thing about computers, if it wasn't for Josh Rath. Josh always streamed and gave people on his stream, computer help. I payed a lot of attention and realized how it worked. I started to get involved with Youtube and then that led to blogging. Besides the point, I have learned so much from all these icons online. It is very important to me to have icons. I haven't heard anything out of Josh in awhile, so sadly, I won't include him, but I remember him. Here is a list of the top 10 people I look up to right now.
