Playstation Network is Down

No one knows why, but the Playstation Network (PSN) is down tonight. Users can't even play some of their own games. When trying to launch a game, users are presented with an "8001050F" error code. Joystiq reports it isn't all games, but some. Sony acknowledges the issue, and is looking into it. Other issues include dates on their console being reverted back to 12/31/1999 and owners getting error messages while their console is offline.

When is the Nexus One Expanding to more Carriers?

Ever since the Nexus One was launched in January, it has only been on TMobile's network. Google has had listed on their website that the Nexus One will be launched to Verizon (US) and Vodafone (Europe) this spring. The web has gotten rumors on when the release date might be. Neowin reports the phone will be on Verizon March 23. The CDMA version of the Nexus One just passed the FCC. All of this coming from a Google employee. The New York Times reports that sources have told them that the Nexus One will be coming in April. If I lived in Europe I would wait until the release of the Desire.

I've no idea whether this is real or not, but at least it's quite amusing after all. The lady was spouting vulgarities because she was on the brink of losing in an Xbox game to her boyfriend, who seemed rather calm. Back in November, we shared a video clip about a crazy girl smashing her boyfriend’s Xbox on the floor and hitting it with a golf club because he was accused of spending up to 10 hours a day on gaming and wasn't pay enough attention to her. She then decided to teach him a lesson by destroying his beloved Xbox.

Have you ever wondered how teachers spy on students through laptop webcams. Well, below is a video which shows a quintessential example of how it is done. Assistant Principal Dan Ackerman at Intermediate School 339 Bronx, NY. Ackerman demonstrates how he remotely monitors the students' laptops to check for inappropriate use. And he even boasts that he could use Macbook webcam to see the attire of the student.
