No one knows why, but the Playstation Network (PSN) is down tonight. Users can't even play some of their own games. When trying to launch a game, users are presented with an "8001050F" error code. Joystiq reports it isn't all games, but some. Sony acknowledges the issue, and is looking into it. Other issues include dates on their console being reverted back to 12/31/1999 and owners getting error messages while their console is offline.

Yazzem, a start-up created by a group of teenagers, released an API that will actually make this product go farther. The whole idea behind Yazzem is a place to start a topic, and let others join in the conversation. Incorporate the API into a great program like TweetDeck or a program made by an actual Yazzem user, this start-up will be amazing to use.

Ever since the Nexus One was launched in January, it has only been on TMobile's network. Google has had listed on their website that the Nexus One will be launched to Verizon (US) and Vodafone (Europe) this spring. The web has gotten rumors on when the release date might be. Neowin reports the phone will be on Verizon March 23. The CDMA version of the Nexus One just passed the FCC. All of this coming from a Google employee. The New York Times reports that sources have told them that the Nexus One will be coming in April. If I lived in Europe I would wait until the release of the Desire.

There are so many great places online to host your personal portal. A personal portal is a place to link to your places on the web. Think of it like a profile. One of the great places to host your personal portal is Squarespace. Sadly, Squarespace is not free. That's when Flavors.me comes in. Flavors.me will let you easily create a "splash" or portal page.

There are many great places on the web to collaborate, but it is really hard to do it with documents you have typed up on Word or iWork. Services like Google Wave and Evernote require you to do it all in their service. Why not type your document exactly how you want it in Word or iWork, upload it to Crocodoc, and have friends or colleagues collaborate with you? The great thing about Crocodoc is it offers a free version that doesn't allow you to sign up. Just upload and share your link.

Just last night Twitter and Yahoo confirmed their partnership. Yahoo, a search engine that is slowly dying (in my opinion). Google is taking over. The deal between Twitter and Yahoo is to be more exclusive than the one between Bing and Google. Bing and Google have had real time Twitter updates included in their updates for months now. This will be the first integration from Yahoo.More integrations coming this year.
