Facebook’s Upcoming Redesign…

Hi, it's Matt again! I'm sure you've all heard about the upcoming Facebook redesign. It essentially focuses on search. Here's a preview on what it looks like at the moment. Remember though, they are likely to change parts of it; if not all of it. It's being beta tested, so they're probably just gathering feedback until they get it just right; before releasing it. So what I want to know is: What are your opinions are on the new redesign? Look good, look bad, tired of all the changes? Let us know in the comments.

LittleSnapper Review

LittleSnapper is a screenshot tool by Realmac Software, the team behind Rapidweaver. Basically it allows you to annotate, take, and share screenshots. The interface is absolutely stunning. It's almost impossible to name an app that has a better UI. As you click through your folders, the images fade out/in, shift position. When you zoom in, it's gradual not instant. The Tag Manager is a sort of matte HUD. Non-translucent, yet black and matte. Absolutely stunning. Another great feature is the 'LittleSnapper Browser'. It allows you to browse the internet inside of the LittleSnapper window, and use the two buttons to snap photos. You can capture an element/part of the page, or the entire web page!

Delibar: A Delicious Client for Mac

Delibar is a Delicious client, designed for Mac. It helps you manage, add and share bookmarks via Delicious. It seems to be designed so that you can do lots with just a few clicks, or button presses, and runs via the menubar icon. When you click the menubar icon, or hotkey, you will see four tabs. It looks great, and it’s really simple to use. You have Bookmarks, Recent, Network and Saved. These are mainly self-explanatory.

TinyGrab Review

Tinygrab is an application that uploads your screenshots. If that sounds simple, that's because it is. You simply run the app in the background, and when you take a screenshot, the normal way (cmd+shift+4)it uploads it; either to grab.by or your own custom FTP server! It's extremely simple to use, and has a Windows counterpart, and an iPhone companion in the works. It also allows you to upload images that aren't screenshots. You can either drag the image into the dock icon, if you have it enabled, or click on the menubar icon, and then click Upload Image. Very useful if you want to quickly share images.

Hyperspaces: A Brilliant App That Lets You Customize Your Spaces (Mac)

spacesIf you own a Mac, or have even heard seen a Mac in action, you'll know about Spaces. Spaces is a useful tool to organise your desktop into several different 'Spaces'. For example, you could have one for your iTunes, so as not to take up spaces on one single desktop. Another for your work (i.e Pages/Keynote open), another for Twitter (have TweetDeck or something open) and another for General.

Droplr Review #2

If you own a Mac, chances are you already have a special little app, called Dropbox. It's a great app, and it's uses are infinite: backup, sharing, hosting; anything! But chances are, you wanted a simpler, more productive way to share your files. Dropbox can be clumsy, slow, and inconvenient if you really want to quickly share something with the world. Enter, Droplr! Droplr is a beautiful little app, that rests in your menubar.
