Do not always think that gaming consoles such as Sony's Playstation 3, Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Nintendo's Wii are for gaming. These popular gaming consoles can actually do more than just for entertainment purposes. For example, the United States Air Force and Stanford University researchers harness these gaming consoles as a supercomputer for research purposes. Federal investigators use them to catch real life while for most PS3 users, the criminals they catch and the victims they save are just pixilated simulations on a TV screen. United Kingdom's NHS (National Health Service) promotes the use of Nintendo Wii to keep fit.

Sometimes getting something for free is not always as good as it seems. Sadly, free stuffs are usually associated with the term “less quality”. And this goes the same with the free hosting packages that you can get with some web hosting providers. Most of them fail to provide reliable and good hosting services with their free hosting plans. And even worse, some hosting providers even try to charge you with hidden fees. But, if you’re attentive enough on details and take a closer look at things, you might actually get to stumble upon a really good deal.

My class consists of 36 students. How many of them have a Facebook account? The answer is 33. How many of them has a Twitter account? The answer is 4. Apparently, teens spend a lot of their leisure time on Facebook interacting with their friends and playing web-based games by Zynga, but only a small percentage of them use Twitter. Most have heard about the word "Twitter" but know nuts about what the micro-blogging service actually does. Below are a couple of reasons why teens don't use Twitter.

Apple is known as the most secretive consumer company in Silicon Valley, and leaks are rare. But the iPhone prototype was left in a bar in the Silicon Valley town in Redwood city. Photos of the device began surfacing on technology blogs, sparking a frenzy of hype among the Apple-obsessed.

This embarrassing leak has caused the California-based tech juggernaut a huge impact economically. At the point of writing, potential iPhone 3GS customers are abandoning their plans to purchase the widely-popular smartphone, which sold 8.75 million units for the quarter ended March 27. People prefer to wait for the newer and faster iPhone 4G, which is rumored to be announced on June 22 and available in stores in September.

Forget about all of those ubiquitous police surveillance cameras in your city: the new sheriff in town is that shifty Google Street View camera wheeling through your neighborhood. Even though Google Maps, has been garnering criticisms for its alleged privacy invasions, but it is actually a pretty good crime-solving tool, and it is being embraced by police all over the world.

Of course besides acting a handy tool for the police, Google Maps, Google Street View and Google Earth can also be used for a plethora of things too.
