Best Buy Devour Pre-Sale is Up; Will You Be Buying One?
Posted on February 19, 2010 | No Comments
The Motorola Devour is the next Android phone coming to Verizon. It isn't a Droid competitor but an alternative. The Droid beats the Devour in screen size, speed, and the operating system. Best Buy kicked off its Devour pre-sale earlier this week.
Usually phones are sold with a rebate, you pay some extra money, they give it back to you later. Best Buy has not setup a rebate system with the Devour. The way Best Buy will be doing things is with a gift card. If you signed up for the pre-sale you are required to buy a $50.00 gift card (hopefully spendable) that will hold your spot in line, what a new way of doing things.
Will you be buying a Devour? We will have to wait until the 25th to see the price point, hopefully something to compete with the HTC Droid Eris price point of $100.00.

It is time for Google to catch up
Posted on February 9, 2010 | No Comments
I have been waiting for Android 2.0 for my Droid Eris ever since I got it for Christmas. I know Eris users and Hero users alike are kind of mad that we have been left in the dark. With the release of Buzz today I was really excited to use it on my Android device. When I went to http://www.buzz.google.com my device wasn't supported because it was running Android 1.5. To me that is just unbelievable.

Nexus One Update Enables Multi-Touch
Posted on February 3, 2010 | No Comments
The Nexus One is a phone loved by many, but has been missing one feature, multi-touch. When reading about the Nexus One, when first launched, many people said their only complaint was multi-touch. Well after a few weeks had gone by after the release, someone actually looked in hardware and found multi-touch was supported, it was only a matter of time before the update would come. Well yesterday was the day.
