If successful, it could mean that the iPhone, as well as Apple's desktop version of Safari would make the switch to Bing. The <a href="http://www.businessweek.com/technology/content/jan2010/tc20100119_759795.htm"target="_blank">Business Week</a> reported that the discussions have been under way for weeks and no official announcements have been made to the public.

"Apple and Google know the other is their primary enemy," says one of the people, who's familiar with Apple's thinking. "Microsoft is now a pawn in that battle." Apple is also working on ways to manage ad placement on its mobile devices, a move that would encroach on Google's ad-serving business, the person says.

The data was compiled from over 6 billion process records through their network of 21,000+ registered xpnet.com users located around the globe who use Windows PCs and servers. "The idea that IE will go away is far fetched," said Craig Barth, the CTO at Devil Mountain. "People who say those kinds of things simply don't have a grasp on the internal organization of enterprises, or the bureaucracy of companies.

Of course, I'm eager to try out the new messenger. Earlier this week, we posted a couple of <a href="http://techxav.com/2010/01/04/msn-2010/"target="_blank">exclusive screenshots</a> about the upcoming Microsoft Windows Live Messenger (also known as Wave 4), which will be launched in mid-March this year. And now there's more purported Wave 4 screenshots surface.

The new messenger will include several awesome features such as Windows 7 taskbar integration by adding the four default status markers, tabbed chats windows similar to those in IE8, combining both the “Winks” and “Emotions” into one button, and a major improvement to its Photo Sharing (allowing users to share photos from their online albums or search the web for photos).

The large screens, monitors, and the computers drained the power. But the show went on!

<strong>Computers</strong>

I think everyone was really looking forward to the Courier being released. Sadly, it wasn't. The new slate line was released. HP, Pegatron, and Archos are going to make the tablets.  The Slates are running Windows 7. The device has multi-touch, which seems standard these days. It is coming at the end of 2010.

He even said on Twitter he was puzzled that there isn't any advertisements at all. I believe it's because the beta version is still in development stage and probably Microsoft didn't bother to embed ads into it yet.

It seems like the folks at the Windows Live Team has improved on the Windows 7 taskbar integration by adding the four default status markers (available, away, busy, and appear offline), a feature which easily allows users to quickly select their status from the thumbnail previews.

But it isn't just them who HATE the design of the logo. When the logo was first released in May 2009, many people claimed that the logo is "butt ugly", "outdated" and "amateurish". And guess what - the logo is actually designed by Razorfish, one of the world's largest interactive agencies acquired by Microsoft in 2007 for $6 billion!
