The phone is available on Tmobile right now. It will soon be available on Verizon and Vodaphone (Europe). Google will be selling two versions of the device themselves. One of the versions costing (unsubsidized) $529.00. The unsubsidized version is said to work on any network except AT&T's 3G, but you can still connect to their Edge network. The subsidized version, or the $179.00 version, will be available on Tmobile's network. To use the subsidized version you have to pay for Tmobile's Nexus One specific plan. The plan entitles you to 500 talk, unlimited Tmobile to Tmobile, unlimited text and web. The plan will cost $79.99. Some Tmobile customers will be availible for upgrade pricing.

Last week Google announced the Nexus One. The Nexus One is running Google's 2.0 Android OS, nothing special. 

Of course, this won't be a bad phone, just not something to kill the iPhone, and isn't that how we compare all phones? What makes the Nexus One not so special, is the fact it is just Android 2.0. You can find Android 2.0 on every phone with Android, just like the recently released Motorola Droid. I am a fan of Android, I may even like it better then the iPhone OS. It is just a thing that a user might want really want.
