Samsung is making a Chrome OS Netbook
Posted on February 15, 2010 | No Comments
Phil Newton, of Samsung, recently stated that a 10-inch Chrome OS netbook is on its way, later this year. You're probably thinking, these specs are awful for a computer. For a Windows netbook, yes they are, but for Chrome OS the specs will work fine. Chrome OS is for speed. It is an OS that runs in a browser that allows you to connect with the cloud. Since it is a browser the specs listed above, will be really fast, for a cheap price.

Posted on February 13, 2010 | No Comments
Wow, Google has had a really busy week. They have released Buzz, have had a Nexus One and Droid update, are now an ISP, deleted Blogger accounts, and acquired Aardvark. Aaardvark is an awesome social media service that allows you to ask a question and an expert will answer. In December I heard, on Net@Night, that Google was in talks with Aardvark to buy them for $50 million. Yesterday, TechCrunch reported that Google and Aardvark finally made the deal.

Google Deletes Blogger Blogs, Twitter Goes Into a Frenzy #musicblogocide2010
Posted on February 12, 2010 | No Comments
Google's service Blogger is a great way to host your own blog for free. Many music fiends used Blogger to talk about music and share it with the world. Today Google has taken down a ton of music blogs hosted with Blogger. Google says they were forced by the DMCA Act. Many people have taken their opinion to Twitter with the hastag #musicblogocide2010.
Google took down all of these blogs down with out any notice. Also, they deleted all of the archives of these blogs. The blog I Rock Clevland was one of the blogs shut down. Two years of blogging, now gone. I Rock Clevland claims all of the MP3s uploaded were legal.Google's service Blogger is a great way to host your own blog for free. Microsoft and Yahoo are Angry over Google Buzz
Posted on February 9, 2010 | No Comments
With today's launch of Google Buzz, Microsoft and Yahoo are now releasing press releases saying how wrong Google is for launching the new service. Yahoo has to realize their product isn't going to catch on. Google is going to blow them away like they already have with all of their other services. The same goes for Microsoft/Hotmail. Buzz is going to be a better product no matter what.

Today Google released their awesome new service called Google Buzz. The new service is really impressive. It is Twitter and Facebook in one service, incorporated with other Google services. Buzz will also be included into mobile phones. A new type of social network has emerged. The Buzz service is incorporated into Gmail. In Gmail there will be a Buzz tab under the inbox tab. In the Buzz tab you can view your friend's Buzz, recommended Buzzes, and write your own. The whole service requires no refreshing, it is all updated simultaneously under your Buzz tab
Many of the top social media news websites have gotten invites to Google for tomorrow's unveiling of a new feature. The Wall Street Journal reports that Google will release a new feature to Gmail allowing you to update your status like Twitter and Facebook.
Currently you can only update your status on Gchat, and it acts like an "away message". The new feature will probably work over multiple platforms including Gmail, Picasa, and Youtube.
